In this workshop, Joshua Muscat taught participants how to make dry and fresh plant tinctures, which are concentrated forms of herbal medicine that are convenient to use, highly portable, and have a long shelf life.  Herbs in tincture form address a wide array of illnesses, from short-term acute issues (such as urinary tract infection or a head cold) to long-term chronic disorders (such as sinus allergies, asthma or arthritis).

Participants learned useful skills that help empower them to manage their own health issues with plant medicine, including suggestions for plants that are appropriate for beginner exploration of self-care.  Everyone took home the tinctures made in the workshop.
