Participants got a behind the scenes look at bee-keeping at The Fairmont San Francisco's famed rooftop garden! They heard from Helene and Spencer Marshall, owners of Marshall's Farm Natural Honey and keepers of The Fairmont bees.
The class also enjoyed a delicious demo with The Fairmont SF's Executive Chef jW Foster using freshly harvested honey from the garden. This class was designed to introduce participants to the basics of urban bee-keeping in an incredibly unique setting. Everyone went home with a recipe booklet, as well as tips on bee-keeping!
